I know what you’re thinking.  You can’t stand to look at another book on sales by someone who has never been in the trenches, full of untried theories and buzzwords; or one more book packed with acronyms that you have to memorize and recite like an unthinking robot to close any deal.

I know what you’re thinking because I can’t stand them either.

I suspect if you have to digest any more technical graphs and psychological opinions about what makes people buy, you’re going to vomit.

You’re absolutely right to maintain a healthy degree of skepticism.  I’m the same way and proud of it.   But often I still buy the book anyway, hoping that I can find something that I can use to justify the price.

And that is precisely why I wrote this book.

It was written for professional sales people to help them sell better, immediately, but it can be used by anyone who wants to become more aware and effective.

It was begun as a series of weekly articles for professional sales men and women.  And they made it very clear what they needed:  a short article with a strong message to prompt or inspire them to sell better . . . right now!

They didn’t want a long philosophical treatise on the theory of sales.  The focus should be on instant application; something that could be used today.  Then later, when they had time and interest, other articles could be used to dig into the deeper elements and basics underneath all selling.

This book contains discoveries not found in other writings on the subject.  Complexities are stripped away and simplicities revealed.  Basics are underscored and useless chatter about conventional wisdom is ignored.  False ideas and opinions are discarded.  The “newest and latest” sales techniques are minimized and the underlying workable basics are strengthened.

In short, the focus of this book is only on what works!

The book is designed to be read in the same way it was written.  Every article has a message on some vital aspect of selling.  Each is intended to help you sell better and have more fun doing it.  Simply scan through the titles until something catches your attention, read that one and put it to use.  The value of the information will be instantly apparent in your sales success.
