Trust me on this one . . . this is hot!
Not to compare this discovery with the Law of Gravity – but it is an important, universal discovery for use in all areas of selling.
When used correctly, it works for everyone, every time, with no exceptions. And the simplicity of the discovery is a testimony to its power. Here it is.
We all know that perception and reality are two opposite sides of the same coin. But, I have discovered a third point that is just as or even more important than the other two. It is the human element that must be present in all sales: the consideration of value.
The sale will not occur without a consideration of value no matter how hard you try to sell with reality and perception alone. This third point is what makes it all come together and make sense.
And when these three factors coalesce, they create what I have termed: the sales power triangle.
It is the combination of the three elements that creates the magic of the sales power triangle. What makes it unique is that a change in any one point invariably affects the other two – to your advantage or not. It is a tool that undercuts all selling activities of any kind or type and, when applied expertly, is nearly unstoppable.
Consideration of value and “want” are both directly influenced by both perception and reality. Reality affects perception as does the reverse.
These three – perception, reality and perceived value – are the essence of any sale. If any one of them is lacking, the sale will not reach a close as the spark of “must have it” will not be ignited. When all three are in evidence, the customer will want what you’re offering. And they will insist that you give it to them. Now, all you have to do is give them what they want!

This unique formula will instantly allow you to adjust your selling efforts on the spot; as with practice you will now know exactly what you are doing when you are doing it!
It doesn’t require belief any more than does the Law of Gravity. It just works! Every time.
All you have to do is understand the terms and see how they fit into your immediate situation; practice applying it until it becomes as natural as rain and it will reap greater rewards than ever imagined.
All great discoveries are basically simple and this one is no exception.
The sales power triangle - perception, reality & value – is powerful because it’s true. It really is how people think, feel and act.
Learn it and use it . . . your customers will love you for it.
