Applied Sales Knowledge

Knowledge comes by eyes always open and working hands; and there is no knowledge that is not power.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson.

You’ll get no argument from me about the power of knowledge.

But there is something else must be considered when looking into the world of sales:

Selling is an action verb and it requires the application of knowledge to the real world.

And as the derivation of the word “sell” is from an old English word sellen, which means “to get, deliver,” knowing how to sell can take you to the door to opportunity, but only the practical application of that knowledge will create closed deals, fat paychecks and high morale.

The overriding purpose of my study has been to isolate the natural laws of selling and communicate them in a way to help others understand and use for practical purpose. But I can’t do it alone.

Help is not help if it is forced. In fact, it is resisted. There must be a willingness to learn and accept help if one is to improve and grow. And that willingness only comes from within you.

But, once armed with this willingness, it becomes a powerful tool for expansion and success.

Knowledge is power, it’s true, but knowledge applied is the only route to true power.

And once you study and learn to apply the natural laws of selling, the attainment of success and wealth become effortlessly attainable.

This is where that sublime feeling of competence comes from; the accomplishment of something that was only dreamed of earlier; and that is priceless!

Study of the natural laws of selling takes you to the door to possibilities and opportunity.

Applied sales knowledge holds the keys to open that door.
