The Goal Of All Selling

The goal of all selling is a simple, fundamental principle:

To help people, to add value, and reach a mutually beneficial agreement.

Whether in the form of a written or verbal contract it results in a willing exchange of money for services or products. This is what you’re trying to do. You’re trying to build an agreement that serves the interests of all parties involved.

How you are going to do it is the subject covered under the broad title of “methods,” which are countless.

You would be well served to spot-check yourself from time to time to make sure you haven’t adopted some method that violates your principles, as this is the path to disaster.

The road to happiness and success is where you methods align with and support your principles.

If your methods are in agreement with your principles, you won’t have to justify, explain or make excuses for what you’re doing.

It’s just naturally right because it’s based on the natural laws of selling.

And that’s how you know you’re on the right track.
