Who Are You Selling To?

You’re not selling to yourself are you?


The person (customer) you’re selling to is always some other person than yourself.

So. why do so many salespeople think they have to do all the talking, all the time?

Are you trying to impress yourself about how much you know about your product or service?  Or convince yourself that you sound like you know what you’re talking about?

As we all know, communication is the key ingredient of ANY type of selling. And the art of listening to the customer is infinitely more important than how much or how fast you can rattle off everything you know.

Who are you selling to?

It’s obvious.

You’re always selling to one person at a time; the one in front of you.

It doesn’t matter how simple or complex your sales process, your only job is to sell the person in front of you, right now.

Focus on the right target and you’ll intensify your message.

Only sell to one person at a time — the one right in front of you, right now.
